We begin this year with by welcoming and congratulating the new staff of
officers to oversee the Western Washington Chapter of the International Codes
Council. The officers of the Western Washington Chapter of the International
Code Council are all actively engaged in the building
profession.

Kelly Tally —
Past President: Kelly has spent 32
years in the construction industry; he has spent seven of those working as
a building inspector/ plans examiner. Kelly's past employment has
been with the jurisdictions of
Yakima
County
and the City of Auburn. He is currently employed by Pierce
County
.

Mike Noot —
President:

Marc
Schoenberg
— Vice President: Until
recently, Marc has been an inspector (building / plumbing / mechanical) -
a position he held for five years. He was first certified as an ICBO
building inspector in 1990. He has also been involved with carpentry
work, worked as a piledriver, as an ICBO certified welder, and has worked
with the 62nd Civil Engineering Squadron at McCord AFB. Prior
experience also includes work in Alaska. He is a member of the
Western Washington Chapter of IAPMO, and has been a member of the Western
Washington Chapter of the International Codes Council for five
years. This is his first position as a chapter officer.

David McCurdy — Treasurer: |

Andy
Westgaard — Secretary: Andy has been active in the
construction industry for over 30 years. He started doing remodeling
and framing and was a member of Carpenters Local #131. He had his
own business for 9 years and now is employed by the City of Mill Creek as
an inspector. New to the Chapter, Andy stepped up to the plate when
called upon and accepted the position of Chapter Secretary. Andy
believes the chapter can be a strong force in education and
promoting proper construction, as well as the new “greener” methods.
